I dropped by the Atari forums' Map Releases section yesterday, and a few maps caught my eye. I downloaded them and ran through them yesterday, and I like them.

Ultimate Community Map Pack
This is a 13-map pack. I ran through 11 of them yesterday, and can't say I found one I didn't like. Some are better than others, obviously, but by and large, I was impressed. Most of these maps could be used for competitive play, IMO.

A medium-sized industrial-themed DM map. A few lift jumps, good powerup/weapon placement. Fun to play, pure and simple.

ONS-Minus-ECE
A large, nine-node map using the ECE vehicles (obviously you need the ECE installed to play it). While this map wouldn't work for competitive ONS play, it looks like a blast to play in a crowded pub. I know some people gag at ECE vehicles, but if you don't mind them, this map might tickle your fancy.

What's the name of that map that is like shield only pretty much and stuff?

It has ammo spawns, but no weapons. August Moon or something I think.

DM-CBP1-AugustNoon. It's a map from the first Community Bonus Pack - not a map from the above-mentioned UCMP. I posted at Unreal Ops about AugustNoon, but no one's replied - they probably don't care at this point. :rolleyes:
