do any of you currently own one and if so how do you like it? also how much have you paid for it then and what it cost now.

also if you may, when do you use or did you buy it and don't even use it?

This is a great question as I am also in the market for one. I have been looking at the 4 gig Ipod.

I use my PDA with a 512MB card for MP3s. If you are looking for a standard MP3 player I think iPod is the one to beat right now.

slice--4 gigs will hold a lot. do you currently have alot of music to fill it?

salvation--i have a pda but find it would be too big to do a workout or jog where i might drop it.

there's also the route of getting the creative jukebox...?...I think thats the one. Its really cheap because it has such a small HD, but I read that its a piece of cake to crack it open, pull out the tiny piece of crap and insert a say...60gig?...laptop HD off of newegg. (Gotta love those articles on how-to-hack)

I bought this one by Creative Labs (http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16855102170) for $82 delivered about 6 months ago and I'm quite pleased with it. All I use it for is music at the gym, so I didn't need anything over the top. The only thing I replaced was the head phones. I use it about 4 times a week.

i have a mp3 player mpio 128MB.

Bought it 2 years ago for 169$ worth about 99 today.

Use it while trainaing quite often.

- to small to fit more then 2 hours.

thats the bad side

good side ive used it quite often here and there but strongly reccommend buying at least 4 gig for more lenght time in music.

changing the music on it everyday is ennoying to say the least.

still not a bad purchase for me.

ipods are probably the best but I have tried many different models.

My advice would buy something with decent storage and you should be okay.
