Once out, the National Anthem was sung and then 4 F-16's flew over head with one breaking off in respect to the armed forces. Very nice.

Here is Montoya and Kimi being driven around the track for publicity. All drivers were escorted around in 1940's era cars..

I was close to the track when Alonso and Fisi went by.. I, of course, went crazy when they went by and got their attention since they both waved at me!!....

50% of me says good for them for at least giving us something to watch, and 50% says they should have boycotted like the rest. However given they have had a hard time with their tyres all year.. can you blame them for going out?

Schumi showed a bit of unsportmanship attitude toward Rubens when he cut him off in the first turn after coming out of the pits. But at least that provided some drama.. <sigh> :down:

I feel so sorry for you two about the trip, the money and your wasted time for this race event.
The FIA should have cancelled the race and given back the money to the fans, but well, we will hope all can fix their problems till the next race starts.

Thanks Rosie. The money I don't care about personally. I do care how the international croud who shelled out all their money to come here got screwed. Really sad. Some of those people save all their money to make this trip and for this to happen.. is such a disappointment.

I am anxious to see how greedy the FIA and Eccelstone(spelling) are. They made their money with their sponsors.. the fans deserve their money back.
