collection. I just had to have the new body and style of the 2005 Mustang Convertible GT V8 Premium. It's being deliverd tonight at around 11 pm, so I get to burn rubber in the morning. The dealer is delivering it to one of my hotels and spending the night there so I haven't seen it yet because they are on their way now. It is black with a black top and black leather. I decided I wanted an all black new toy. Harder to keep clean but sweet as hell looking. I got it with every option possible including the 1000 watt 10 speaker stereo system with in dash 6 disc cd changer. God I love cars. This a generic picture of the ride, I will take some to share with yall tomorrow. :)

Very nice. I have also started shopping for my next ride due in April. So far my early favorite is the Infiniti G35 or FX.

there supposed to be 300 hp but they show a little less then that on a dyno. ive seen them run high 13's in the quarter mile wich is pretty damn quick. there fast but i cant bring myself to like a mustang. i got to drive one at work, it was a 5 speed and i noticed that the shifter rubs a bit on the trim around it. anyways, they are a very fun car, really peppy and sound nice to.
i hope ya have fun with it

Not only is the ride nice and tight but it is the fastest car I have owned. I mean it is freaking fast. Did I mention fast? Oh and it looks pretty slick too. Pictures later on, after I go over my Dad's house to show him my new toy. You will also not believe this either but he already traded in his Lexus and is coming home with a new surprise tonight. I will take pictures when I go visit him in about an hour. Oh I know the suspense is killing you.

I am thinking about these rims and tires for my baby. I would of course get the Dunlop 8000 tires. I kind of like them because they are nice clean lines and not to showy. LIke I saw some rims today on a SUV that had like blades and crap all over and I was like barf. http://performanceplustire.com/products/packages/?searchType=searchByVehicle&applicationID=693&year=2005&makeID=56&modelID=597&x=16&y=5&wheelSize=20&manufacturerID=44&wheelDataID=7417#prodAnchor

I like these at the top better I think they would complement a black car very well... A little less blingy...Wheelz (http://performanceplustire.com/products/wheels/?searchType=searchByVehicle&applicationID=693&year=2005&makeID=56&modelID=597&x=4&y=4&wheelSize=17/?searchType=searchByVehicle&applicationID=693&year=2005&makeID=56&modelID=597&x=4&y=4&wheelSize=17&manufacturerID=34#prodAnchor) Or These (http://performanceplustire.com/products/wheels/?searchType=searchByVehicle&applicationID=693&year=2005&makeID=56&modelID=597&x=4&y=4&wheelSize=17&manufacturerID=2&productID=27&wheelDataID=554#prodAnchor) in gun metal, I like a lot, too.

Yeah, but those are crap rims. Since there is a hint of chrome on the back of my car I thought getting something chrome would be nice but with no cutouts or designs keeping with the sleek lines of it. I don't really think they are blingy. They are 5 star just with a tear drop pattern nice and smooth. If anyone finds some slick rims post em, money isn't a concern. (no gold or diamonds please, that is just plain gay)

I think these would look real nice on that black stang.

Yah see I know nothing about brands, etc. I just liked the look of the more understated ones, but hey I have plastic snap-on ones on my hot Mazda Protege, LOL so I'm definitely no expert... I thought those other ones were quite different from most I see about town, that's another reason I liked 'em...

I'm a real car purist and to be blunt the only Ford worth having is the GT40.

The Mustang is OK but it's well, a Mustang. It's going to be all rolly polly in the bends and feel like an ocean liner in the chicanes. The Jag? Well thats also a Ford!

Hey Slice, let me know when you get a Zonda and I'll come clean your wheels for you. :D

Stay off the crack. This car handles great and turns on a dime. It is a tight ride and you don't rock and roll as you are suggesting.

BTW these are the $3,000 rims I just ordered for it, 20"x8.5" with Dunlop 9000 series high performance tires. Pics to follow once I get the rims. ;)

LOL Slice, no crack head here. I've driven Mustangs before. The suspension isn't bad but does not compare to European sports car standards. The Mustangs rear suspension for example is still way behind the performance car standard. Linky (http://www.fordvehicles.com/assets/images/vehicle/fp/mst05_005.jpg)

But those 20 inch wheels are going to rock. The new Range Rover only has 19 inch rims for Christs sake

Don't get me wrong, I like the Mustang a lot and if money was no object I'd love to have one in my collection.
