i found it somewhere in the dird a month ago when i was moving places.. today it just popped out somewhere and i tought what the hell why not install the game since ut2k4 is dieing slowly and its boring me.
i been playing some today but it got so annoying i dont know if its me but after 2 minutes of playing i get seious lagg spikes and it keeps freezing me but ok.

I dont think i will be playing this long, becuz when i used to play this game 3,4? years ago the lagg and spikes werent as bad as they were now.. unless someone got an explanation fix or smth?

Well I play evey day and it isn't as bad as people make out.

Sure some games are laggier than others but you get used to it. Skill will always tell in the end. Just look at people like Rose, Black Wolf and Sephie. They never moan and win often :thumbs:

here's how it works:
when you play something like QIIIA or UT2K4 ALOT and then go back to Sam, it will seem like theres horrendous lag.
However, once you play Sam more and more, you'll learn to get accustomed to the lag and it wont seem laggy to you. I rarely have spikes so its either what I just talked about, or you have spikes.

type: hud_bShowNetgraph=1 and see if you have hardcore spikes

prob is my ping is getting higher every 2 secs
like when i got 200 it goes 250 for 5 secs then turns 2 secs back to normal
i never had this kind of lagg before its really strange

i dont get it so its not sam's netcode thats causing the problem
try running spybot search and destroy and pest patrol and you'll probly find some spyware thats hogging your system down

I dunno about you but after playing with a 110-150 ping average I cannot predict the players movements or even aim at times when my ping is 200+, which is the reason I am an exclusively US server player.

Shotgun you can only stay away from the pron for short durations of time, it will always come back to haunt you until you visit that website again! :D

well i used to play only on USA servers back then i pinged a good 270 =D
as long as ur used to your ping it'll be quite easy

I play all servers regardless of ping. Sometimes I get my ass whooped and others i win. Either way i love the game :)

same here. I get bored after 25-35 frags unless its my unlimited frags Yodeller server :)
