I enjoy Sam for it's ease of play. Space bar, arrow keys, and the mouse, it doesn't get any easier than that. UT is nice for a change of scenery, that's about it. :roll:

The knife in Sam is so ****ing cool....one reason the game rocks.

Slik....noobs don't do well in SAM....they get lucky in serious mode, thats it.


Sam should either be played in normal or hard mode....or serious mode if no noobs are playing because they just end up camping then

I hate waiting for the damn lightning gun to reload. Sam's weapons are better, especially the sound in the headphones. How bout Sam double jumping in SS:TE... YEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAA.
I still find Sam more enjoyable for the fast pace. Runnin and Gunnin.

I agree a much cleaner feel to the player movements. The UT player movements seem too bulky and less responsive.

Actually...Sam is quite fun, but for game versatility and server administration, UT is all that and a bag of donuts. (little chocolate ones)

I still think you should've played more than 1 game before uninstalling it. It takes a few to grow on you, and the other modes blow standard deathmatch away. Combine that with all the extras, maps, and mods that will be in the retail version and I think you would've liked it. Oh well.

unreal tournament was not that good of a game,,, the only reason i liked it at all, was the rocket X CTF teamplay,,, assualt was cool too,,, and 2003 will not have the assualt,,, and it should never lag as slow as you run,,, anyone ever see a sunflare on UT????? I never have,,,,, what about the weapon models on UT,,, very simple with almost no moving parts,,, the whole front end spins on SS rockets, compare mini guns,,, I have not played 2003 yet,,, and will be very surprised if it comes close to the detail on SS,,, If we had decent mods, like a street sweeper, or a rocket X, for SS, and a decent netcode, we would not even look at 2003,,,,IMHO

True. If Croteam put out 1/100th of the mods or fixed the netcode Sam would own all. But they are busy meeting their XBOX deadlines to give a crap about the PC users for now.
