Football that is.

I am disgusted that Washington actually kept Ramsey. The guy sucks and will prevent my Skins from accomplishing much this year. He is so bad, I am actually hoping he gets knocked out of the season in a preseason game.

Santana Moss is great. Spectacular talent very much needed. It's too bad Dan Scneider spends all this money and still lacks a QB.

Gibbs better get back to his style because last year his performance was not good. I hope he figured out the new clock. I am tired of the time outs taken at the wrong times.

Anyway, GO SKINS:thumbs:

Lions look to have the most exciting offense I can ever remember them having. Harrington, Polland, Mike and Roy Williams, Rogers, and Jones. There is serious talk this year about making the playoffs. It would be nice since the super bowl is this year. My prediction is either 9-7 or 10-6.

Do not be surprised if Detroit does better than that Sal. They have been the 3rd team in the NFC North for so long, that may change this year.

I know they improved big time on D, lost a prima dona WR to Oakland, other than that I really haven't looked at my Vikes this year so ... bbl with my opinion of them.

I am reserving judgement too because you never know what's going to happen but I am a Giants fan and you can't really tell until about 4 or 5 games.

Most of these predictions are not or have not been accurate especially by the commentary so call experts. LOL

Yea deep down I expect them to do even better than that, but you have to understand here in Detroit, if the Lions finished better than .500 we would have a parade for them.

! Ain't that the truth! The always find a way, against al odds, don't they?

Ya know, I've always hated the Lions, despite being from Michigan (if you read last year's football posts, I believe I was ademant in that thinking), however I'd really like to see them do well this year. It'd be nice to see the change.

Seems like the annual moto for both the Lions and the Tigers is "I think they can do .500 this year, I really do"

I'm waiting patiently...Tigers are only a couple games away from that - that'd be the first time .500 season since what? Like '93.

The Dallas Cowboys look to rebound from last year's 6-10 record. They picked up Drew Bledsoe which is a step up from Vinny Testeverde. If Bledsoe is given time to throw to Terry Glenn and Keyshawn Johnson the passing game will be effective. The offensive line has 3 with Pro Bowl experience so this is a good thing.
If Julius Jones can pick up where he left off at the end of last year the running game will be solid and balance the offense.
The kicker is a question mark. Cundiff their regular for the past 3 seasons has been released after he injured a quadracept during the last training camp practice. OUCH! So they are still trying to deal for a decent kicker. They have to rely on a kickoff specialist named Cortez. This is not good. How many games are decided by the kicker?
On defense they drafted Demarcus Ware as an outside left linebacker. He was a stud (4.51 40yd./ 430 lb. bench press) at Pitt in college. Look for him to create sacks and interceptions.
With the Eagles more than likely to repeat as NFC Eastern Division Champs, Dallas must rely on the wild card to get into the playoffs. Anything less than post-season would be failure to Bill Parcells, now in his 3rd season at Big D (apologies to ME BIGGD01:P).

The Lions did really bad against the Rams on Monday.

Still early to say but I think the Lions will not make it to .500

If I would tackle you down one shot, I would put you in a hospital DH.

Football is a tough game to play and painful especially as a QB getting hit on the ribs and that pain doesn't go away for weeks btw.

Well, since it has not been specified as american football, i'm gonna assume its Canadian football because there are no other countries in the world other than the USA.

And the B.C. Lions are doing GREAT! 9-0 my friend. no other team in the division or league can touch em! w00
