ive been getting error everytime i try starting it up... here it is.
UT2003 Build UT2003_Build_[2002-09-19_17.26]
OS: Windows 98 4.10 (Build: 67766222)
CPU: GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor @ 549 MHz with 127MB RAM
Video: No Video
General protection fault!
History: UGameEngine::Exit <- InitEngine

I had the same when I played on win 98.
I added something into my UT2003.ini file and after that it worked. but I forgot what I added :unsure: Maybe a look into your UT log file would help. :WTF:

Yet, it used to run? If so, then look in your UT2003.ini, and see what 3D device they have selected, it looks like this for Direct3D:
[Engine.Engine]
RenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice
;RenderDevice=Engine.NullRenderDevice
;RenderDevice=OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice
The semicolons remove it, so the one that has no ; is active. Check in your system devices that your video card is present. Reinstall whatever version of DirectX you are using, that can fix some problems, then I'd say try a reinstall and re-patching of UT. If you get all those done, and it still locks up, see if any other 3D games will run.

Meesa tinks you need an upgrade, those don't even meet the min requirements.

I have the same **** system with 256 ram. It should work and if I was you add another 128 of ram Eric.
