Go to www.battle.net (http://www.battle.net) and you will see Warcraft and Starcraft characters with the date "10-7-05". Look for an announcement from them tomorrow. Hopefully its something big.

last time i checked Blizzard was surveying which of their games ppl would want on the Nintendo DS or PSP - maybe it's just the optimism talking, but i think it may be related...

I would think it would be able a competition, a new ladder, something about Blizzcon or something like that. It'd be sorta odd to make a big announcement on Battle.net about a product, as blizzard.com is their site for that and battle.net is their online gaming hub.

Either way, I sure hope it's a PC game, not another console game that they're going to spend 6-8 years on and NOT get out at all...

So, when I just checked, rather than the page w/ the image and 10 7 05, I got a black page...but the scroll bar showed more...so I highlighted and scrolled down...and I what looked like 2 birds...one wearing a sombrera...with "O RLY?" under them...What the heck?!

same here...very odd...if I didn't know they had a big date today, I'd think their site was being hacked.

I like how if you highlight the "NO WAI!!" bird thing you can see it's skull, basically...

oh, and in case you were wondering...I ran the 1's and 0's through a binary-to-ascii converter...no message...darn

Very very disappointing. I blame it all on SAL for getting my hopes up :P

For the record, SR, it said "W3C", not "WC3"...w3c is an organization that establishes standards for web development.

Bwahahha! They will prolly need to redo alot of stuff due to the technology changing so much over like 4 years already.
