I played FE ages ago and am I right in thinking the machine gun hurts a lot more than in SE?

Those CF guys are dedicated FE fraggers. They've been there the whole time and some of them never play SE. Weird! :)

You would be surprised at how many people still play FE over SE and still you guys play a game that is not as good as the first edition.
1) If you look at the screenshot below, you will see 15 players playing so FE has quite a few players so FE is not nearly as dead as some of you may think. I'd call this one a draw
2) There are 91 DM maps for FE and 90 for SE so this is basically a draw.
3) After a map finishes for you guys, you have to leave the server and then come back in, that is frigging stupid. In FE we just stay in there and in a few seconds the map rotates ... THE WAY IT SHOULD! Advantage FE.
4) If a player doesn't have the map in FE, it doesn't screw up the server like it does in SE so we can play more than a handful of maps that you all play on. Advantage FE.
5) In FE you hardly, IF EVER get F9'd. BIG Advantage FE!!!

The FE server admins do have one weird trait and that is even after 4-5 years, they STILL only run Desert Temple on most servers. :confused: That's even more BORING than the SE servers that you all play on with their same old 6-7 maps over and over again. So when I crank up our server called "Outlaws - Password need to play here" (thanks to some CF jackasses spaming messages), you would not believe the peeps that still try to get in and play. I guess they can't frigging read, that or they are begging for a good FE server with some different maps. *cough* Hint to Slash, drop the 2nd SE server and run a FE server. *cough*.

Erm...nevermind. I was about to take a picture of the box and post it as proof that I had bought a copy, and I heard something rattling inside.....

..I'm a moron, I have the disk, and, can you install FE without screwing up the SE installation, and are there patches for FE, and where do I get the maps? :D
