Freezetag news

[FUS1ON]

I don't know if you all remember but there were two camps when it came to Freezetag. You had Freezetag (FT) mod and then you had Ultra Freezetag (UFT) mod and they kind of worked independently of each other .... sort of ... but not really. :rolleyes:

From what i've gathered there is going to be a FT mode of play included in a mod called Q4 Arena that is still in development. :thumbs:

Most of the post are over a month old which leads me to believe they are either being quite about it or it has been shelved. Here's some of the latest news comes from over at the UTF forum. Check out L0D|ALIEN's posts.

I so cant wait for this mod!! Yeah its gonna own.

Wait.... Wait one minute arent i on the team.

The mod is moving along we are working on a few more ctf maps for the new gametypes and we should have some new stuff to show off soon, we hope anyway. We hope you all enjoy it when we release the first test.

Some time this coming week ill get the forums online. In the mean time enjoy thinking about Freezetag, Im a big fan and hope you enjoy it too.

Yup very fun mod. I was playing in Quake 3 yesterday. Got pwned but hey it was fun and that's what counts. (for me anyway)

Can't wait till it hits Q4, and I see that some great maps are being re-made for it too. Well essentially the Q3 map files are being imported into Quake 4 and retextured accordingly but still its good to play some older maps before people start coming up with brand new ones.
