Anyone play the first games war of the ring,Battle for MiddleEarth 1 where they any good ?

where they any thing like the old Myth games series ?

I've never played the first game, but I know it's gotten a ton of praise/awards.

I'm not sure I've ever heard of the Myth games, so I can't really confirm or deny that question. I'll be downloading this tomorrow and testing it, so maybe I can give you an idea when I review it a bit.

From what I've played, I've been really impressed. I haven't played an RTS is quite a while, specifically I usually only play Blizzard RTS games, but this is really slick. When being attacked, enemies were climbing my walls, etc. Very cool. Instead of using units individually, there's group about 15 to a "unit", which is cool - the battles get big fast! Very fun.

Huge download, but I recommend giving it a whirl!

I might be buying this title! - At least grabbing the first one that should be like 20 bucks now
