Image question

I've noticed that most games tend to save their screenshots as .tga (or at least the few that i've saved a ss have...)

Does anyone have any good FREE programs that can read these things and save them as something else - bmp, jpg, gif? Note Free: I don't have the cash to go buy photoshop!

I found a program that's getting me by, but it's shareware and it's putting a stupid "Saved by Trial Version" on every image.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

irfanview, nothing else is close.

It's free, no nag or anything. Opens any file format and will do what you are wanting it to do. It will even do batch conversions/resize/etc ... of pictures.

hmmm...hope that works good. I'm not sure why, but I've always hated irfanview...my dad has been claiming its greatness for like 3 years and I've avoided it..not sure why...I think it's b/c that logo is so dumb...or b/c i'd hate to find that my dad found a great product and I didn't...

I forgot about gimp! That's overkill for what I'm trying to do, but it would work, i'm sure.
