Is the bright skin setting server specific?
When I play in other servers it aint working.

execution told me how to enable it, but I couldn't execute it. please help the noob :confused:

If I remember correctly, Brightskin is specifically enabled through Q4Max. So if you're playing on other servers that aren't Q4Max enabled, it won't work.

Add this command seta cg_enemyColor "0 255 0" to either:
(1) your Autoexec.cfg (if you use one) or
(2) to both your Quake4Config.cfg files (located in your q4base & q4max folders) or
(3) While in game hit ~ and type exec seta cg_enemyColor "0 255 0"

Bob is correct, it only works with certains mods

the final 1.1 patch will add brightskins for marine and strogg as well.

BTW Peeps in case you didn't know why ... the reason I said to also add it to the Quake4Config.cfg in the q4base folder is because if in the future you install another mod, it will copy that Quake4Config.cfg into the new mod folder and the command will already be done for you. I still prefer to do #1 though.

Yes they are adding a brightskin for marine team and one for strogg. So one green brightskin (marines) and one orange (strogg).
