Due to my announcement above, I will be taking down GM tonight for forum maintenance which should not last more than 1 hour.

What the hell happen, in a nut shell?

Someone gained access to Apache on our server and uploaded a bunch of files to a hidden directory on our site. Then they sent out a ton of spam which told them to go to www.gamemecca.net/directory/spam/file.bla, which directed them to their own bank fraud site. We couldn't edit, delete, or rename any files because of permission issues. So basically, they used our site for bandwidth and space to try and con people.
