Most definetly. The Radeon is king of the hill right now, and if you are going to blow the money, that is the way to go.

There is little question, the 9700 Pro if you've got the dough. Provided you've got a slot to run it, there is no doubt the ATI beats the GF4 - and will keep pace with and occaisionally beat the FX, according to early trials. Can't beat that. If I could sell my 4400 at a decent price, I'd gladly upgrade to a 9700 Pro.

There was an article in Computer Games magazine showing the 9700 was twice as fast as the Ti 4600.

I'm a die hard Nvidia fan but I have to agree with the rest of the guys. I would get the 9700 if I were buying a video card right now.

Well I dont know what to tell you cause I own a Nvidia GForce 4 Ti 4400 and a Radeon 9700 Pro and so far my experence with the 9700 Pro has not been a good one. I have installed and uninstalled the latest patches and updates including Direct X and much much more. And the 9700 Pro still distorts UT2003 Ive written to ATI and searched for tips and help and nothing seems to work. All I can say is buy your self a card that you know is going to work with the stuff you play research alittle find whats best. Take a look at this screen shot and if anyone who knows anything about this problem please respond soon cause I really could use your help.
Thanks alot!

biohazard, the problem is with corrupt files or you are doing something wrong. there is no comparison to ati as of yet. uninstall all drivers and make sure nvida drivers are uninstalled. goto ati website and download two files
1-drivers 3.1
2-ati control panel
first install video drivers and make sure virus software and all apps are close while installing then reboot.
after system reboots install ati control panel and reboot.
install dx9 and all should be fine.
