Downward Spiral is hosting it's first annual LAN party. To be held on June 10th and 11th 2006. We have a few seats open if anyone would like to join us. First come first served. Location Allentown PA. If interested please

I see you joined our forums. Make sure you browse the {DS} LAN Party forum for update and such. Also you might want to post to hook up for some sleeping arangements if you plan on staying the week end. We have 5 rooms reserved. Sleep 4 -5 with rolla away bed. If you need other info just ask.

Well if there is room ofc I'll stay. Otherwise I can sleep at home and come back. I live about 1 hour away, prolly 40 mins if I drive REALLY FAST. Also if anyone wants to stay over my place for free, we have a room in the attic with a bed, they are welcome to it.

Yikes... I mean if anyone is desprerate. :rolleyes: I read that there are 5 and judging from the rooms I've stayed in at a Holiday Inn they prolly can accomodate 4 people. I'll post on the DS boards.

I just realized today that it's in Allentown. I've read that like 50 times now, but it didn't click til today. That's about 30 min from my grandma's house in NJ, which I haved visited in 8 years! Gonna have to make a sidetrip for a couple hours, but I'm definitely in if there's room!

maybe, maybe not. We're near the top of every ladder and are quite picky about who we accept. We spent a long time building this clans reputation, we don't want to ruin that.

Most hotels have internet connectivity (prolly T1 or higher) so I'm assuming that we will be able to hook into it. Unless the techs at the hotel deicide it would take up too much bandwidth.

There is wireless internet in all public areas of the hotel. Also we are supposed to have internet in the room at the LAN. So if we can get it working yes we will. :) also connections in your rooms.

I have to tell you guys when it comes to sheep, Lash and goober know all the tricks. One in particular was when they showed me their mountain techniques. Quite simple but very smarrt. Quote from Lash "you see y'all have to bring the sheep to as close to the cliff as possible. The sheep will know what to do if it don't wanna fall off".

Yo Exe, being from Russia does anyone of your family from Russia send you chocolate? If so bring me some!!! They rock the little bars of dark chocolate. I just finished the bag that one of my clients wife who moved from Russia here gave me. I would tell you they were for my daughter but that would be a lie. I have to look for a wrapper to see if you know what I am talking about but I know they have a picture of a girl holding a basket. I will can wrapper soon.

Unfortunately I don't have any Russian chocolate. I wish I had some now since you mentioned it but it's kinda risky sending chocolate back and forth (the feds might thinks it's chococaine) :D

Honestly though, my mom already gave away most of the stuff she got in Russia including chocolate. I think we got a nice bottle of Russian Vodka and Cognac but I'm not brining that to the Hotel since they prolly wouldn't let me, and I'm not 21 yet either.

I remember when I was over in Russia this summer we had a chocolate museum where there were about 30 different things made from chocolate including a soccer ball and a chess set. Really sweet stuff (no pun intended)!
