What is the name of that site that will act as a server and keep track of your ip address for remote connections. People use this when their IP is not static but need to connect to their pc or server at home. I know someone posted this and I can not find it for anything. I need this solution for a dsl connection in Manhattan because it's getting annoying to have to get the IP from someone.

Thanks in advance:thumbs:

I have seen it in some routers but is it a free service? If so I may need to look into that Linksys model. Oh, what model is that:) ?

its a wrt54g, they should be pretty cheap nowadays... both of the services (were) free
i think they had addon services, like email caching, but the redirects were free

Hmmm, I have one of those here. It's a wireless router right? Weird thing is this one does not have that feature. I have not update the firmware as use it as a bounce off another router for more protection. Do you know if a firmware update gives that ability?
