in sweden everyone gets and/or has the right to 5 weeks vacation each year. average is to take 4 weeks in a row in the summer and save one week. we also " get paid " during these weeks sort of, usually based upon giving " less money " for each hour during the year and replace it in our vaccation.
now i heard and think in america and also in japan where ever u get a job u have the right to only 1 week( so whatever deal u make with the boss doesnt count right here) is this a fact ?
maybe i should edit: i dont at all mean sweden(or any other country) is better/worse in any way.. i am just very curious of getting facts

It depends on where you work, and sometimes how long you've worked there. I get 3 weeks a year paid vacation. Plus all the Catholic holidays. :D
