This MMO has come up with a new idea! They first section of the game is free, unlimited gameplay. You cannot go further without paying, of course, but this offers a great way to really immerse yourself into the game and find out what it's like before you commit to giving them any money. Playing this section of the game doesn't even involve giving them a credit card number!

great, i like when i can try something before i buy it, but uh, client has 1.53gigs

In a way its sort of like Runescape and some upcoming NCsoft games, since in those games you can pay for more content if you like it.
