God: You are a very good person, always helping other persons without expecting something in return. Therefor I wanna do you a favor. What do you really want??

Man: I really want a bridge from Europe to Hawai.

God: Wow, that is really some kinda wish, did you think about the amount of concrete, steel, man hours wich will be needed to build it not even mentioning the economical influences? The whole world will be upside down.

Man: Ow in that case, I want my wife to understand me then.

God: So, how many roads should this brigde have?

I just read one the other day that was quite similar:

somehow a chick finds a genie. The genie grants her 1 wish.

She points at a map. "I wish for peace in the middle east."

The genie replies "Lady, those peoples have been at war with each other for thousands of years. There is a history deeper than anything you know going on there. I'm good, but I'm not that good. Make another wish, and keep it reasonable."

"Well," the woman replies, "I've never found the right man. I would like a man that can cook, clean, doesn't like TV or beer, and wants to do nothing more than spend every evening cuddling with his wife."

"Lemme see that map."
