if you create server in game, game should automatically open port. make sure your firewall and stuff doesnt block it

Are you using a router? If so, which brand and model number?

geez man,, r u that lazy to look at the site i gave to u? it has everything feed with the spoon right in ur mouth

here,,, specially for your router and serious sam SE:
http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Trendnet/TEW-431BRP/Serious_Sam_The_Second_Encounter.htm

its "tutorial like" site with all SSSE ports and how to open them properly,, its big becouse your router doesnt accept automatic port range,, instead you have to add them each by each yourself,,

I followed everything on the site. It doesnt work. I think its my computer thats blocking it. If I disconnect my router, it people still dont join my games. So, its the computer for sure but I dont know what to do.

what ip are you telling them to use?

It better not start with 192.168.0

you need t use the ip your ISP is giving you. or the one found on the status page of your router setup.

Anyone can easily see what their IP is by clicking the following link:

Fragetti,, inside router settings he have to use local IP so the router knows for wich PC to open them ports... external IP is not been touched by any way, only given to friends who you want to join the session

correct if i am wrong

Edit: oups sorry, misread your post... and yeah as i said

My IP is 66.222.210.126. But when I host public games it doesnt work either. When people try to join my game it doesnt let them in, I see my modem light blinking cause I know they are trying to join my game but they are getting blocked. I turned off all the firewalls microsoft had on default.

You need to use that ip and put that pc or ip on the DMZ

Note: when your done playing take your pc off the DMZ as it will be wide open to the net.

Thanks guys, I finally got it to work. I went to network settings and there were ports that I could open manually. Thanks for the router part, now I dont have to disconnect it everytime I host a game.
