Line in recording

I have a mini disc player connected through line in onmy sound card, and was wandering if anyone knew of any software available to record from line in ???

oh yea, get yourself a copy of Audacity :) ;) Its the best freeware solution out there i think.

Audacity doesn't, I don't think. It is a really nice program for freeware though. what you want is probably Cool Edit Pro. I hear it now goes by another name, but you should be able to google it.
