yeah, i saw that in today's paper. Really though the drive is too small, i have lost too many receipts and waiting 3 months overall makes for something I would have to pass on. For comparison, you can get a 400GB drive for $100 or a 200GB for $50 @ frys (outpost.com) with free shipping and no rebates.

Jim is right, but hey if you like rebates and only $20 bucks for a small extra drive is all some peps will need.

My old pc and the old one I am using now have 40g drives. I've never used more than 20g in either.

I'm not into downloading music. If I watch a movie once I don't care to watch it again. After I try a demo or play a game I delete it if I don't like it or feel like playing anymore.

Guess I am in the minority, but at least it only takes about 15 minutes to defrag my drives.

I'm with you bro, largest drive is 60 gig on my laptop, and my other 2 are 40's.

Must be nice. I have 2 80 giggers and they're both down to about 5-10 gig open. All these modern games. UT2k4 takes almost 6 gig. Prey, doom & quake 4 each take up 2-3 gig. I believe I have about 80 or 90 gig just in games, if not more.

I know that I have 20+ gig in media. Various funny clips that i've downloaded. When I purchase a CD I immediately rip the whole thing into itunes as a backup. I own over 100 CDs, so....

Besides the huge performance boost, I'm really looking forward to getting a mobo w/ sata and moving to the 320 gig that newegg has.
