Largest Book In The World
In 2003 Author Michael Hawley, a scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, published "Bhutan: A Visual Odyssey Across the Kingdom" the largest book ever published. Each book is 5-by-7 feet, 112 pages and 133-pounds. The book, which costs $2000 to produce, is being sold along with its easel-like stand for $10,000. All proceeds are being donated to the charity Hawley founded, Friendly Planet, which has built schools in Cambodia and Bhutan.
