To come from theory to the stage they are now in only five months is pretty amazing. There is no telling what things will be possible in fifty years.

Sci-fi becoming sci-reality very quickly. It's jumping up and surprising me personally how quickly they developed this cloak.

This is not new. They have already used an older version which does not bend light but uses thousands of micro fiber optic fibers to recreate the scene on any of its sides. It is pretty much a 360 degree of projection. Whatever it sees you see in replication in real time. However this sounds like a new advancement in the technology and you really have to ask yourself if this is not already being used.
