How much longer will this go on? We have seen a turn around at the Whitehouse. But there doesn't appear to be an end in sight. Maybe with a democratic legislature and the lame duck presidency of Bush we will see a new policy. We can only hope that after 08' there will be new ideas and a new direction in foreign policy.

Not to sound inconsiderate, or to diminish the worth of their lives. Much of the violence perpetrated against them has come from their own people. I think as an American I find the death of American men and women to be more impactful and resonant in my life. Although, the death of any person in this war is a life that was wasted.

30 000 children die every day around the world...

but if 3 westerners die... its unacceptable ....
