Well as a fan of TPIR I can clearly see that the show will not be the same without Bob Barker, he is a symbol of the show. It may not even last much longer when they hire a new host. I hope so, always the optimist that I am.

So................................................ ............................................... who's it gonna be, if anyone?

Nitro is taking over, he loves them honeys on the show and he knows the price is right.

Oh man it won't be the same without Bob Barker. I did watch it once in 1968. I saw my Daughter watching it a week or two ago. But didn't pay it much attention.I did like it when Bob beat Happy Gilmores butt though lol.

I did watch it once in 1968.

 As if that didn't bring out your age :P

I read this in the paper today, just won't be the same without him.

I loved his role in Happy Gilmore though when he kicked the crap out of Adam Sandler

Given that daytime programming is terribly boring for children, this show was the highlight of my day when I was lying on the couch sick as a kid.

Too bad to see him go, but darn if it wasn't there for a long time!

Chico you saw Bob Barker on Price in 1968? It didn't start until 1972. lol

You must be talking about when he hosted Truth or Consequences, another great show, but certainly not as great as Price. Here are several of my suggestions for possible replacements.

Todd Newton, he gets a lot of mixed views among game show fans, but I suppose he would not be a bad contender.

Chuck Woolery, he's a veteran who has already hosted seven shows, why shouldn't he consider hosting TPIR?

SALvation, the master at everything involving games, who better to host a show with nearly 80 active pricing games?
