I bought COD2 last Sunday, and this game came with version 1.2 (2 new multiplayer maps) already installed. So, when after I've installed the game and try to join a game, this is what I get:

....I'm getting KICKED before I even get in a game!! Can someone help me??!

I just fired mine up for the first time in quite a while and i'm still using v1.0 and need to update myself, but even with v1.0 I was still able to connect to some servers.

There is a 1v.3 patch available now, you might try it. You can read about it and the things that it fixes over v1.2 here. When I clicked on the Auto Update button in the game, this is where it took me.

I'll DL the v1.2 and the v1.3 and see what happens.

I used "Inadequate O/S Privileges"

Read the first one. You now have to have admin rights on your pc to play and it sounds like you do not.

I went ahead and installed the v1.3 before I saw this so I hope we can still play together with different versions. Post or PM me some details about where you all play at and maybe we can get together.

I had some mod installed made by a group named RDX or something like that, it divides the maps in two and you end up sniping. It might not be you guy's thing, but I liked it.

No prob. I have 12 , 1.3 and 1.5 installed. We usually play on exodus rocks.server in 1.2 I know the mod your talking about as I believe I have it also. But we have a good group of players that we have gotten to know on1.2 :D

That one seemed to do the trick, Shogun.... thanks! After rebooting the pc, I was able to join Krazy in Exodus Rocks server w/o a problem....
