I saw it. I can honestly say that I've never been a big fan of Bond movies. I watch all of them, then go "eh, it was alright".

I really, really liked this movie, though. Bond was a lot grittier than he was in the past. I've always thought that the bonds in the past sometimes come off as a bit less than macho a lot of times, but this guy was just plain Tough as Nails.

My personal opinion is that he's the best Bond. i know the sentimental pick is connery and all that, but this Bond is a tough SOB, and I like that image more than the suave Bond.

It started off with a fantastic opening, and continued throughout the movie.

For literally the first time ever, I can say that I'm looking forward to the next Bond movie.

Never saw a Bond movie before, so this was my first. Overall, I liked it very much and was only bored during the poker and train ride part. The story didn't flow too well IMO though, but the action was great.

One thing I noticed though was the lack of high-tech gadgets, there was only one here and there.

Well it was the beginning of Agent 007. I never expected him to have too many gadgets and gizmos.

Sean Connery has always been my favorite Bond............... until now. I have to admit, Daniel Craig is pretty good. He actually is rivaling Connery as my favorite 007.
