This would be ideal to stay sharp over the winter. Are you still into this?

I haven't flown for years, although I have a few kits in the box whispering at me to build them. It's been so long I'd have to replace all of the battery packs I have. I've probably got about $4,000 worth of transmitters, receivers, servos, planes, kits, etc. But yeah, that's a sweet program. The physics are dead on and it really is just like (trying) to fly an RC aircraft. I have an old version that doesn't work on Win2K/XP.

What are you guys talking about downloading? I didn't see a demo, and it would be pretty useless without the controller anyway.

Special Limited Demo Version: Includes one airplane and one helicopter with fixed parameters. No need for joystick or R/C transmitter. Demo version is controlled from your computer keyboard. The demo version includes only PhotoField graphics. G3's living, breathing 5,000 square foot environment is only available as part of the complete G3 package.

Maybe you shouldn't be flying them with your bad eyesite. :P
