It's good to know you have your plans straightened out and in order. It seems you you have a lot to look forward to. (um smiley face)

w00t! Sounds fantastic!

It's January and in a state that traditionally sees it's first snow by the end of October, we've had 1 snow that stuck so far this year. It doesn't necessarily look like more is coming any time soon, and I'm LOVING it.

I hate snow.

Of course, I hate it when it's beastly hot in the summer too, but hey, at least now I have a beach 10 minutes away!

I'm with you Bob Snow = Bad, Warm = Good, Temp is to be a high of 57 here in N.W. Pa today, unheard of for January.

Damn I tried 10 mins to find it in English but dunno which search terms to use...

Anyway here's the Finnish version. :P
http://www.iltalehti.fi/uutiset/200701045555480_uu.shtml

It was in today's news paper and TV news.

Basically it says that "British Meteorology Station (or something like that) says 2007 will be the warmest year ever".
The source for this is from the AFP (http://www.afp.com/home/) so maybe you can find it there too.

Yes I'm a snow hater too. :P

This Christmas and New Year were the first ones ever (that I remember) WITHOUT SNOW on the ground here. It's so damn weird not having snow here in Finland. :D But I like it. The temperature has been very high too considering that it's "winter".

And that's why 07 will be such a great year, not so much snow, not so much freezing your rear off. :D

BTW, snow is a four-letter word that I think should be censored. lol

Snow days come back to haunt you in June.

Not in Tennessee. I remember only once that we had to make up snow days, we did it by going to school on saturdays for about 3 weekends.
Watched cartoons and played outside all day.

Things are different down there. In MI, it's so common that they can't afford to just give the days away.

The policy here is generally the first 2 or 3 snow days (or any other day off, like the "bomb call" day, or the "boiler busted" day) are gimmies, after that each snow day means 1 more day tacked onto the end of the year.
