OMG, this is so cool (to me anyways)


Guitar World complied a list of the "100 Greatest Guitar Solos". Over the last few days the Howard Stern Show has been playing clips from the list. We've found listening to these great classics a very moving experience, so we took it a step further and dug up a video link for each of the top 20! Listen and watch the musical genius and mastery that made these classics famous!

Not bad. A lot of those I really disagree with.

Don't get me started though - I can sit around talking music for days on end. :)

Hell, just look at my trade list if you doubt! And it's not nearly complete as I haven't updated it in forever!

That would be the late Dimebag Darrell from Pantera. I like a couple of their songs such as The Badge but most of their stuff is too oldskool for me.

Pantera is a great band

and those solos were brutal .

Don't have time to look at them all right now, but I did take 5 minutes to enjoy Jimmy Page's solo from my favorite song ever!

That's a great list that I look forward to looking @ more of! Thanks!

What BS. The only reason Tiny Tim was exluded from that list is that he didn't technically play a "guitar", but when it came to pickin HE WAS THE MAN!!!

Yeah a lot of peeps are complaining about the list at other forums, but over all pretty cool to see some of the old time solo's.

I'm sorry... Do we know you?? :cool: How the heck are you man? I think about you all the time. Well, ok...whenever I mop the floors (which isn't very often). What are you up to these days? Enquiring minds want to know! Perhaps I should start another thread before peeps get all uppity.
