'bout the same as you, Dawg. We've haven't seen 10+ since Friday morning and we're not supposed to see it again til at least Wednesday or so. The cold doesn't bother me so much - I'm fairly resistant to cold. IE: I'm still walking the dog and going to work in a jacket at the most, and sometimes in a t-shirt.

However, the weather here is terrible. Easily the worst weather we've in at least 4-5 years, if not more. A TON of drifting, lots of whiteout.

Was about 10 degrees and the wind was absolutely brutal here in Mass :confused:

Can't complain too much though. Up until recently, our winter has felt like spring. In January, my neighbor's bush was covered in pink flowers and my lilacs were all buds. It was strange to say the least.

An intense low pressure system just south of Ungava Bay will remain
almost stationary during the next few days. It is associated with
strong winds that will cause blowing snow over northwestern Québec
tonight. Moreover, the Arctic air combined with moderate to strong
winds will produce high to extreme wind chill values over several
regions of Québec by Tuesday morning. These frigid conditions will
persist most of the week.

I had to breathe inside my coat every so often because the air is so cold ...

its downhill to go... but uphill coming back .. its very refreshing

big whoop. That's just a trip to the mailbox. I do that in this weather, too. Heck, when I lived with my folks during college, we didn't have neighbors really. I used to get the mail in nothin' but boxers in this kind of weather. Either that, or not get the mail at all, b/c if I'm home alone, nothing is worth putting clothes on. :D

It's the 20 minutes of getting snow off your car and beign almost to work before the heat in the car kicks in that sucks.

Besides, i'd rather have this than that any day. I can stand the cold. I can't handle heat at all. Once the weather is more than 70 degrees, i can break a sweat just sitting outside.

I lived in Fla for close to 15 years, after a few years there I adjusted to the heat. I can't seem to do the same with the cold, GIVE ME THE HEAT.

I lived in Minnesota growing up. I moved to Pennslyvania when I was 14. I like having fall, winter, spring and summer and the changes the different seasons offer. I was supposed to move to Florida about 1990 but couldn't get myself to move. I really didn't like it. I loved being there for vacation, but I don't think I'd like to live there. I wouldn't move back up North either as it was TOO cold. If I had the money now I would probably move to North or South Carolina.
