Perched over the Grand Canyon close to a mile above the Colorado River, a massive, multimillion-dollar glass walkway will soon open for business as the centerpiece of a struggling Indian tribe's plan to lure tourists to its remote reservation.

I can see both sides on this, but if I was in the area I would have to check it out.

$25 is quite a bit of money to just walk out on some platform. I've been there years ago and the view even from the edge is very majestic. It helps to put things in your life into perspective and makes you realize just how small you really are.

If it stimulates a struggling economy, I rank that as being far more valuable than not seeing some structure over a river.
