I'm not really a religious person, but I love watching history documentaries. I watched the interviews and it looks like this is going to be a great program.

Well I'm not to sure about this as well, but I am going to watch it. I really like the Discovery Channel and they usually do a pretty good job at producing things like this and being fair to all sides.

Im not religious at all but it might be quite interesting.religion was made by people and the holy book was also written by people and besides it was translated from hebrew god only knows if there were no translation mistakes and I bet there were some.I bet that some people could hate me for these words but that is my opinion and I have right to have it and I dont force my opinion upon anyone, so I expect the same.
anyway like I said this might be interesting...

I didn't watch the video, but I did some research when this was first announced. Not even this guys contemporaries believe his claims. They are completely unfounded. See the following rebuttal by Probe Ministries:

This was criticized by many because of the way it was approached. These guys should have lightened up a bit and not only did they approach it in a unusual scientific method used for archaeological discovery but The scientific method for such discoveries—research, testing, reproducible data and peer-reviewed conclusions—has not been followed. This didn’t help for the scientific community. Many of the public that watch television are easily persuaded especially the news in America because you only hear most of the time a one side and many do not do their own research but only what is being said on television, news papers or our government etc. It’s important to hear both sides when the facts are presented in a professionally and within reach. It was interesting to hear the debate and thanks to Ted Koppel who I believe is one of the very best news men who ask the right questions and his homework.
