Is anyone else sick of DST? I think we should just get rid of it altogether, set it forward and leave it forward.

Until this year, Indiana always insisted on ignoring it. During the summer, we'd be in sync w/ indiana, but during the winter, we'd be an hour behind (or maybe I've got it backwards, but w/e).

I dunno about other states, but we in MI have always referred to this as "Stupid Time".

On that note alone, I cannot agree to drop DST.

On a realistic note, I don't mind it.

:P

Not that there's anything wrong w/ Indiana people - MPulse is the tweezy! - they just did their time all stupid like. :D

They might have had the better system, but when every state around you is doing DST, it just becomes a hastle. It's one thing to remember if the state next to you is in the same time zone or a different one, but it's a pain to have to remember if the state next to you is in the same time zone *right now*.

DST actually helps conserve energy by lowering electricity usage during the longer daylight hours. It is a pain in the butt, but it at least it has a real purpose...
