I actually think skype is the perfect solution for me considering I am always on the road. I purchased an actual number for it as well along other services. Skype is free for all who own a pc and is great for conference and chat/voice conversations.

For anyone mature who has it let me know.

I've used free skype for a number of years now off and on. Tell you the truth it was the best thing since sliced bread when i was building my system and C4 Guy in Germany had to walk me through the mobo and PCI Xpress card setup

The quality is always top notce, but I have known it to occasionally drop the connection. I currently have taken advantage of AOL's last ditch effort to save their company called AIM Phoneline which gives you a free # you can take calls on and use voicemail. Only catch is no free outbound calls.

All in all though Skype works very well and I've heard from others that use it that it is reliable VOIP service

i use only skype, cuz its faster and has nothing to do with Microsoft :p
