I have no idea where to put this but I'll let the administrators do that for me :P

Since I came back to GM again I've noticed quite a bit of avatars involving anime girls and anime stuff etc. I was just wondering how many of you actually watch and/or like anime.

Maybe if my eyes aren't decieving me, maybe we could add a forum just about anime?

I am an avid fan of the stuff but have never really brought it up in here as...well, i dunno...Gamemecca never seemed really Anime-friendly :D

Was considering asking Sho if I could start a sub-forum in the Art section for it as there does seem to be some interest in the subject

First off, your poll should read "Do you like Anime" not "do you like cartoons".

There are many cartoons that aren't anime.

That said, yes, I like anime, in general, though I tend to like the dramatic stuff more than the funny/lovey-dovey stuff.

Personally, I think that MovieMecca can handle the anime stuff, at least until a legit interest is there and can justify its own section.

There are many cartoons that aren't anime.

I did that on purpose, but I as to why I dont know... But yes, Anime is actually not considered Cartoons to the Anime fan.

Just a heads up.. I dont watch Hentai. I have the avatar cuz its funny (to me)

uh.. Marvel isnt really anime, but still good stuff :)

well my favorite manga is Love Hina. Im currently reading Negima and its prolly my 2nd fav.

It's soo complex and makes you think alot. Awesome stuff, you should check it out, but start at episode 1.

Its a classic series that most people at least heard about. It was a major hit in Japan and even here.

You dont recognize this? :P

Their are 4 movies currently under developement, the first comes out in Japan this summer. Its been talk of the year in the anime releases.

I have a buddy that has something like 400 anime DVDs. I generally spend my time watching what he has (b/c it's free for me!) so no, I haven't heard about much else, unless my good buddy Caged has mentioned it to me.
