Croteam has released their first project with the new Serious Engine 3. It's not currently been given a name, but looks to be a realistic first person shooter.

One quote that seems encouraging is "You know that the one thing Croteam is the best at - better than most every other developer in the world - is making games that are frantic and, most importantly, fun. This title is definitely both of those things."

The title is expected for PC and "specific next-gen consoles" (IE: Everything but the Wii :P) sometime in 2009.

ah, good olf Croteam....releasing screenshots then saying it won't be here until 2009 :)

At least they're being honest and saying it won't be ready til 2009...

I remember when UT3 was UT2007 and due out in like March of '06....

It's not at all uncommon to release screenshots, but also have the game a long way off.

1/2 of the "upcoming games of '06" vote that I did are still not out yet, over a year after that vote.
