I can average about 120 points every 10 minutes, which is 720 after an hour.

An Xbox 360 wireless controller costs 2500 points, so in about 3.75 hours I'll have enough. Considering a wireless controller costs $60 (cdn) that's a little under $20 an hour, not bad!

Supposedly after 1000 points you run out of 'puzzles' on Chicktionary, but they're 'always adding more'...

There's also a crossword one that nets you 25 points each time, but it's tougher since you have to do it yourself...

thats not exactly true. Both my brother, mum and picard have Vista and there hasn't been a problem - they were running XP beforehand.

I was going to buy Vista Ultimate OEM version sometime later this year for my new pc. It will be nice that I won't have to buy it and can use the extra money on a better video card. Hopefully by the end of the summer I'll be buying parts or winning them playing crossword puzzles.

I did all the chictionary ones, which were fast and easy using the link Eric posted. I moved on and did all of the Crosswire ones as well. They also were pretty easy. I am now on flexicon, which is a bit harder as it is crossword puzzles. I started off slow but now do them fairly fast and haven't reached the end of them yet.

No, the Chicksonary one was easy with the added site. The Crosswire one was harder and took more time. The Flexicon is harder but using the web link clues it gives, I get most of them fairly quickly. I have spent a lot of time to get the points but it is worth it to me.

I'm following the same path that Tip is. Crosswire is fairly easy, as you can just guess everything that you don't know. The only time it's hard is in round 3, where you get zapped when you screw up, but it's still pretty easy.

Edit: I'm @ 2622 currently. Things are moving along well. I have the feeling that @ the end this will be full of doing the other puzzles, which will be harder...for instance, "Dingbats" only gives 3 points for the solve!

FYI - on Flexicon, once you hit about 4000 the points per game goes up to 25.

hmm, I'm not real sure but think around 25. After the Chicksonary part it was slow going for a while. Then I got the hang of it and found lots of answers use the same words. I do them much faster now. It is kind of like DAOC. You run around doing stuff to get gold and buy items. Only in this case you get real life stuff.

I think I'd guess more like 15 - 20.

I stared @ 9 today w/ 1000 left to go and did flexicon for 3 hours to get my last 1000. At that rate, it'd be about 18 hours. Since i think I went faster at both crosswire and chicktionary, i'd guess more like 15, but there was a learning curve on flexicon, so maybe more like 18.

Also depends on how good you are at this stuff...some peoplee just aren't...

LOL i just downloaded answers to like 200 Flexicons.
So with 1000 from chicktionary, and then 200 flexicons times 25 points each tat gives me 6000 YEAH YEAH. I am giong to be done in an hour heheeheheheheheheheheheheheheheheh. Also the flexicon answers are all in alphabetical, and they include all 4 grids of each puzzle heheheehehehe im good. But one problem there are like 500 flexicons out there so some are not on the list, so u just click give up, and then skip. This then brings u to the next one. MAD EASY heheheheheheheheh.

No, no other emails from them.

When I ordered Vista they said it will ship about August 15th. The digital headset and usb earclip ship the week after. So it looks like if you order you'll be waiting about 8 weeks.

I'm not in any rush and just keep playing the games so I can get more stuff free.

CUZ with bots and macros u set them and u forget them. They did alllll the work for me in like 2 hours hehehehehehehehehehehe.
Didn't even touch the computer after i set them up, they do all the clicking, typing in answers 5 times faster than me.

If you consider them a full 400 dollar value, which is retail, not what it actually costs MS to make a copy of vista, then 400 * 56 = 22400...while that's not a small piece of cash to you and I, you're talking about Microsoft, the company that just put aside a full 1 billion dollars to cover the cost of fixing X-Boxes. They're not gonna blink over 56 copies of vista.

Also, did the guy create like 20 accounts? 56 vistas would cost (under the old system) 336,000 tickets on club.live.com...i dont' think an account can get that many points.

Either way, I'm sure as long as the product is an option, they've got the stocking issues covered. I wouldn't worry.

Yes people made like 5,10,15,even 20 accounts playin the same games on them with bots tat did all the work. They would set the bots up and after 1 hour get 6000 points then order vista, and then off the the other accounts. So microsoft caught onto this so now if u get like over 500 tickets in an hour they reset ur ticket score to 0. And they say they are in the middle of validating orders so many many many people will not recieve there vistas :(
