It would be better if you explain better such as defining broken. Is it the extension or the actual picture that was taken looks unclear?

Ok they wont open but what is the extension to them? Can you copy them off the cd onto desktop? Try right clicking on file and open with comman and use a picture program to see if it will open.

actually, if its on a cdrw, try to modify the disk and append a 1kb txt file to the disk. This will cause the drive not to rewrite or overwrite the files but it should rewrite the line in and line out. This is just a theory now bear in mind, but it is an idea to mull over

It doesn't work. When i wrote the files into the CD-R, they worked. But after a few weeks i wanted to check something and then the whole files were corrupted. The files are also copied on the comp now. Still no chance.

Did you tryed with Photofiltre ??

If not try this:

http://www.chip.de/downloads/c1_downloads_13012070.html

Open your Photos with Photofiltre and save them to another directory.

I hope it helps....

(If you have problems with Photofiltre I can try to help you on MSN)

"Unable to load image"

..and in photoshop comes this: "The length of a jpeg-markersegment is too short. The file is maybe cut or not complete"

I don't understand this, because before it worked.
