***XSW and Limited Edition Clan Merge***

This is a general announcement declaring the clan merge with XSW and Limited Edition effective immediately.

I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who has ever been in XSW that made it what it was and I would like to welcome those members who have now joined the Limited Edition clan, me included, and form one happy family of great SS:SE players. :)

If I'm not mistaken, this is only the second clan merge in Serious Sam history, the first one being the Empire clan and the Campers clan forming Campers Empire.

We only transferred the active players from XSW which was 4 of us. If more players from XSW start showing up in the servers again, they will be added to Limited Edition, so the potential for the nubmer of members to grow in the new clan is very real.

Me and AI have a close and long history and we always kept really close in the Sam world so you might say this was a forseeable event. ;)

Well if you really want to get into the history of those tag colors, you stole them as well as me because Titanium from the Campers clan created them several years ago. :)

It's a shame you gave up the XSW status/policy/history so easily :( especially for a clan which has been death since it began... Would be more logical to let the 2 active LE members join the XSW.

I didn't give up anything except the name. All the history topics, old memberlists, etc are in Limited Edition General forum. Nextgengamers.org still has everything as it was left if someone wants to ever be nostalgic. It's still the same clan except with more members. As we said before, anyone from XSW who comes back to Sam will be added to the new clan. It was a good decision and personally, I think this was the last trick up my sleeve that I could use to revive XSW in a game that has been dead since 2002. If you didn't leave XSW, you'd be celebrating with us :)

I loved what I was able to do with a clan I made very early on in Nitrostatic's gaming history. When I started XSW, nearly everyone told me that my clan wouldn't get any members and wouldn't survive more than a month. Boy did I show them! I have no regrets. It was very fun and I don't take this seriosuly and so you shouldn't either. It's all just a game....a game I honestly wished I never ever started playing. It is like digital crack. You leave the game, but you always seem to come back to it because there is something about it that draws you to it. No regrets at all buddy, no regrets. I had more than enough of my good times with this game and I do not think I'll ever play another video game after this online.

Outlaws and JERC merged waaaaaay before those clans were even around. We used to have blue and purple tag colors, but used JERC's colors when we merged as part of the agreement.

You leave the game, but you always seem to come back to it because there is something about it that draws you to it. No regrets at all buddy, no regrets. I had more than enough of my good times with this game and I do not think I'll ever play another video game after this online.

Hit in on the head there :) Although I think the game was the crack and the community the heroine.


Guess what...I'm almost clean of the heroine, after that the crack would be a piece of cake :P

Really? I didn't know that. I always thought the JERCs were players who were already Outlaws but created a sort of mock clan a la MERC.

Now going a little off topic (sorry) but is OldstarzZz dead too? I remember when i started IBO, Killer Jango & The Chief were active players in there, but now they have other clans. So is OldstarzZz dead in 1.05 too?
