I used to play. If you are new to the Quake scene you will have a hard time competing against other players who are most likely 2x-10x better than you. Unlike most modern FPS games, Quake 4 is relatively fast-paced and relies on tactics, movement, and aim above all else.

I started to play now, it's a great game, and better then SS in some aspects.
For example, there is no 3rd person view (:woohoo: )
And it has less glitches then Sam :D
