Spoken like a true Patriot fan.

ROFL, the coach "Billy" in his press conference today said he was sorry to just about everyone for the "video taping incident" I say give him the boot for a few weeks take away the win and lose a 2nd and 3rd rounds picks in 08 draft.

This is he way the coach is and has always been. This should not take away from the talent on that team. If anything this guy let down his fans and insulted his players who are pretty much leaders in the NFL. No matter if the camera helped or not, these guys will not get the credit or respect for such a blow out. I think they should take the win away to make an example. Any edge can kill off a team and by that blow out, who knows. It's a shame and I don't dislike the pats at all but this should not be allowed.

Is it against the Rules to steal signals in the NFL?
Why does a coach hide his face behind the playlist when calling plays... and has done so for years? Because the opponent is trying to steal signals.
Wasn't Belichik being resourceful?

ok dan, steroids are against the rules too, lets just call the players resourceful when they use them

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -- Bill Belichick is ready for his close-up.

The Patriots' coach escaped suspension for using a video camera to spy on opposing coaches, with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell deciding instead on Thursday night to fine him $500,000 and dock the team $250,000 and a first-day draft pick next year.

It was the biggest fine ever for a coach and the first time in NFL history a first-round draft pick has been confiscated as a penalty. But Belichick will be on the sideline Sunday night, as planned, when the Patriots play the San Diego Chargers.

Belichick was peppered with questions on the scandal Friday morning, when he seemed bemused by the repeated attempts to get him to expand on his earlier statement in which he accepted "full responsibility for the actions" that led to the ruling.

"It's over, and we're moving on," the coach said. "All my energy and focus and attention is on the San Diego Chargers and that game."
