Being the network admin and tech guy in a IT dept full of programmers my job can be challenging and a pain in the rear. Below, find some lines that I have used on some of our end users...

-You probably deleted it
-The Office assistant is NOT your friend
-Error messages are there for a reason
-If YOU don't know what you want, how can I give it to you?
-I am getting dumber just standing here listening to you
-Ernie is just another user (one of the programmers)
-Life is tough, it's tougher when you're stupid
-What the hell did you do that for?

and a question I hear over and over again....

-Is the internet down?
That is when I place my call to UUNET and make sure everything is running on their end... :rofl:

usually when i am called in to fix something i usually tell them on the phone like this

client===bla bla bla
me biggd=hmmm i see
client====bla bla bla
me biggd hmm i think it's an (now you have to say it to them one letter at a time) or sounds like the problems is an (I D 10 T) PROBLEM

client===I D 10 T ?????? WOW THAT SOUNDS SERIUOS

me biggd=== no it's actually common and i will be right there.

now try that with someone and when they ask what the hell is an (I D 10 T) PROBLEM---tell them to write it down on paper for the answer. also if they right out the word ten--just smackem :thumbs:
