This wasn't leaked...that site might have gotten it out before the rest of the world, but the demo is out all over, epic released it today.

Ok I changed the link thanks to Term (U da Man)

The file there is much larger but I have already downloaded 35% of it in a few minutes. SHould have it done in no time.

Well it runs like a charm for me even with the maximum amount of bots, but still no hardcore action "feeling" in this game :down:

Graphics are nice, but not great and I wish they used a greater color pastel.

Btw, is it just me or others experience the same that estimating the dept for example with the shock rifle is damn hard :confused:

This game really kicks arse

feels faster than the older UT games
i think this is gonna be the best fps mp game made yet :cool:

That never was different, at least not in UT2k4 imho.

I really had less difficulty with 2k4 to estimate it. It now looks like a 2d sphere going in 3d explosion.

i hope it tanks...HARD

they took out dodge jumping, the LG, it crashes all the time, you cant login to your own freakin account no matter how correct your password is, the mouse is unresponsive most of the time, and everythings really hard to see

PJ not sure what problems you are having but the game seems fine on my end:P And as for the dodging I can see where that would bother many pf the good players. I could never get the hang of it due to the way I use the controls so I am happy there is one less advantage you all may hve on me.

Have any of you gone in to the deathmatch servers?

thats the thing, other people are having different problems entirely, seemingly dependant of the system they're on.

oh haha thats anohter thing, no matter how correct i spell my password for the stupid gamespy account, UT says its wrong

I guess it pays to have never had a gamespy acct before. I created my login in-game and i've not had a single problem.

Game looks gorgeous to me, and I'm with biggs. I couldn't do the dodging, so I'm fine seeing it disappear :)

one problem I have noticed is that I have to re enter my settings everyt time I want to start the game up and play. The game plays well for me and I see no problem with the game play.

What I think is a problem or maybe just ugly is the interface, the colors everything outside of the game play. These are probably simple fixes. I also hate the commercials when the game starts but at least you can advance past them.

That dodging move is the thing that I disliked most about UT, that and having to us too many buttons.

I got this game running at 640x480 with all eye candy OFF. It felt like I was playing Doom 10 yrs. ago (graphically). I'll wait for the PS3 version.
BTW- What's the deal with a Mech blasting me in the middle of deathmatch?!?

I'm hoping they simply couldn't find a better place to put that, and wanted to show it off in the demo. If that's really in that map...i'll be sad. It really sucks having it in a regular match.

DO you guys actually think your computer sucks? I would just look at your video card as being the problem.
