Friday night he showed up to race in our dirt racing sim league using Unocal as his name. We use Ventrilo while racing and he later told us who he was. It was cool to have him there and we treated him just like another driver, he ended up sticking around until 1:30am just chatting. I've got a cool 15-20 minute conversation of him just talking candidly about racing topics and other stuff, it was recorded using Vent's record feature, but i'm not sure how to convert it or I would post it.

Anyways he thanked us for being so cool about having him there, he said he would be back for the next race if it was ok with us .... sheeeeet I think you know what we told him :D

Don't worry, most everyone has asked that question ... He stuck around a good hour after the race just chatting and if you have ever heard him talk you just know his voice and his speech patterns because he pauses often. I highly doubt someone would go to that elaborate a hoax just to fool us.

If you have Ventrilo, get on Yahoo IM a sec and i'll pass you the recording, you listen to it and you tell me.

I had heard he likes to play the racing games. It is good to hear he sounds like a normal guy. Pretty rare for celebs these days.:thumbs:

Wow, very cool!

Did his motor blow up in the sim like it does in real life now? I think Teresa is giving him the step mother hex!

I had someone PM me earlier at the Speed Channel forums that has raced online with him before, they said we must be doing something right and saying our site and mod just got real popular and send me a link to a post to look at. It was made by Jr raving about our latest mod that he raced the other night. ;)

Jr requested me to replicate this car for him that belonged to his uncle .... well here is the story about the car, you can read it for yourself. It's a pretty neat story.

It was a really simple request to do and I had it done in a few hours compaired to my normal work which takes days. The lettering on the real car was free hand painted on, so I tried to replicate it as closely as possible.

Thanks but that skin is nothing compared to some of my others, this is my personal car.

I did it all from scratch, the sponsor logos, the razorwire, the honeycomb fill, about the only thing I didn't make were the small contingency stickers.
I even made the template (the big picture) that everyone uses to paint these, drawing all those rivets, shading, hinges, etc ... took a while to do.

One of the mods we made for rFactor, I was the lead graphics person on this project.
