Minimum 2.8 GHz or faster for XP??? That is just plain dumb to put out a game right now that needs that much CPU.

I have 3.75Ghz but only 512MB ram. Do you think I should take a gamble and try the demo?

I doubt that it will even work since you don't even meet the minimum specs.

Why is it that back in the day, processors were 1Ghz and the games only required 233Mhz but now, games require as much power as pretty much what the newest tech is.

This is rediculous. All the more reason to leave the pc as a gaming platform.

Hmmm should be able to run it at a decent level especially with AI's 512 mb Vram add. (edit: ain't gonna buy for E 350,- a 640 card. Will wait for half a year :D)

Will give it a try, should have it in about an hour if all goes well :)

Its a fun game. Their are so many ways of reaching your goal. You can go all out or sneak your way through. Either way its a challenge. It was a game I was going to buy anyway, but I know now that its a game Ill be glad to have.

Hmmm, one big pup-up fest if you don't have a Nasa pc. And I don't mean in far distance pupping up some trees...just a few meters in front of ya rocks will grow with the speed of light...

Bad programming if you ask me

Edit:

Should have known......still EA

I had that problem at first. You have to install a BETA driver from nvidias site thats made just for the demo and the game.

i gotta say I'm not a fan of the installer. That is a massive .exe....runs unstable on my computer...but probably just my system

Amazingly fun gameplay, and even though my machine can't handle anything than everything on low @ 1680x1050, the game looks absolutely gorgeous.

Watched it on a buddy's on medium and high yesterday and was blown away.

Try downloading it using something different like firefox or opera. IE tends to timeout.

I'm little late here, but i must say i love that demo. If you download this trainer in it, which you can get inf healt, strenght, speed, invisibility etc. :D It makes the game more funnier. I love to get these big obstacles from the garages and throw trees with them. :D
