I know there is a lot of negative attitude to the download accelerators...a lot of them are crap and nothing more than a good disguise for bugware.
However, I recently downlaoded Orbit after needing to do some downloads in IE and I gotta say I'm really impressed. Its sleek, quick to load, thorough, and as far as I can tell, effective. I had to get a 60 meg wireless driver from dell's website, yea, i usually get 400-500k on a download, but with this sucker running i was pullin 1.5MB/sec. Really impressed and as far as I can see, no bugs, download.com approved.
I haven't tried the advanced options yet, but so far, good stuff :thumbs:
